Why Chanakya

Chanakya Law College is a place “where students can freely meet and talk with faculty and staff. That helps to create an excellent learning environment for the young adults.”

Motivation is essential for the perseverance of students who wish to perform better in their academics and that motivation comes from the precedent set by the seniors and peer groups. In Academics, Chanakya Law College has made its mark in the Kumaun Region of Uttarakhand. For the last two consecutive years, the Chanakya students bagged the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, and Inder Singh Nayal Gold Medal for the highest marks in LL.B Course. In 2019, the Bronze Medal was also bagged by the student of Chanakya Law College. Alumni of Chanakya Law College, Mr Rohit Pandey got selected in Uttarakhand Judicial Services 2019.

From its inception, Chanakya Law College motivated to generate legal awareness in society.  The institution is a hub of activities. Apart from its regular academic courses, the institution has organized various educational Webinars, Seminars, Workshops, Lecture Series and Symposiums from time to time, with the motive of enhancing the knowledge and awareness of students and faculties. The institution takes pride in hosting workshops for students of UG and PG levels, Academicians, Social Activists, Research Scholars, Entrepreneurs, Advocates and Common people of the region on the Right to Information, Alternative Dispute Mechanisms, Human Rights, Intellectual Property Laws and Cyber Laws, where the institute was privileged to have the presence of eminent Professors, Senior Advocates, Public Administrators and Social Activists. Certificate courses were organized with the aim of imparting practical knowledge to students and ordinary people.
